Don't Worry; Abrams is Here.

Don't stop punching, says Abrams

Welcome to the world's most unofficial Abrams fan site. The dude from Deadlock, not the tank. I mean he is a tank, but not the war machine. I mean he is a war machine, but you know what I mean. Lets learn everything about this blue goon.

Top Tips for Playing Abrams

  1. Until you have a good amount of health and regen, stay defensive.
  2. You have very few bullets, so keep them for last-shotting and stealing mobs.
  3. Once you have Melee Charge, you can handle jungle stuff easily. It's free souls!
  4. You can do a bunch of damage, but you're not a DPS. Stick with a friend.
  5. Leap backwards to safety.

The BEST build for Abrams

You can find this build in game, called 'MAKE ABE GO BIG'.

Abe is pretty weak to begin with. You cannot win fights, so you need to do what you can to stay in lane and soak up souls from minions. Infernal Resiliance first, and then Siphon Life.

Step 1: Get jacked.

Avoid player combat here! Focus of getting souls and upgrading faster than the other team. Do not chase players when they start to escape.

  1. Extra Regen. Straight in with a bit of extra health and a bunch of extra HP per second recovery.
  2. Melee Lifesteal. Another cheap way of getting health and a huge increaes to melee attack. Also, it gives you another way of healing whilst inlane - punching non-heroes recovers health!
  3. Melee Charge. More health, health regen, but most importantly: melee distance! Also, reloading helps speed up jungling.
  4. Close Quarters. "Weapon damage" includes melee! So when up close (always!) a 25% damage boost.
  5. Spirit Strike. A small investment into spirit (which increases the damage to your skills), but the big deal is a big boost of spirit damage to your melee.
  6. Soul Shredder Bullets. 7% extra damage and if you hit them with a bullet, also lifesteal! Your high damage now starts recovering health for you.

Step 2: Get closer.

You should still have a friend with you when you start attacking, but now you can start prodding the bear.

  1. Sprint Boots. Health regen! More importantly, allows you to chase down players.
  2. Infuser. Put this on "z" and use it when you start combat. Extra regen and stronger skills.
  3. Bullet Armor. Live longer.
  4. Point Break. 45% more damage when close! (Always!)
  5. Enduring Speed. Health and speed.
  6. Berserker. Loads more damage as your health is used up.
  7. Spirit Lifesteal. Easy health bump.

Step 3: Increase skill damage through spirit.

  1. Torment Pulse. This is expensive, but fun! Extra damage whilst you're near a person.
  2. Improved Cooldown.
  3. Bullet Resist Shredder.
  4. Suppressor.

Step 4: HULK

  1. Lifestrieke. Huge melee damage boost.
  2. Improved Spirit Armor. Unstoppable!
  3. Improved Bullet Armor. Unstoppable!
  4. Frenzy.

Who is Abrams?

Abrams has some attachment to the hells - his skill set tells us that: life sucking Siphon Life and feeding his pain into his own life force with Infernal Resistance. Are these powers his own doing, or is it all from the book?

Pretty sure he's a "detective", but he has a badge, so not a private detective even though his background talks about following adulterors. (Maybe adultry is illegal in this country?) He's a police officer? But what about ACAB? Is Abrams a bad guy? We will see.

What's the book he's carrying?

The Tome appear on his desk one day, with no information about who sent it, and one instruction: "don't let them have it". He had no idea who they are, but they've violently attacked him multiple times now.
